Field of Champions
When the subject is Wisconsin High School Softball, Kaukauna can claim the title of City of Champions.
Visitors to the Kaukauna High School softball complex walk past a wall displaying team accomplishments and individual achievements by the many all-conference, all-region and all-state players who wore Ghost uniforms on these fields or on Bayorgeon Field before it. Although not officially named, the Varsity Field is certainly a Field of Champions.
Kaukauna High School's Varsity softball team won WIAA Division 1 State Championships in 2010, 2017, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Along with regional and sectional championships for each state championship appearance, the Ghosts have won an additional seven Division 1 regional championships and 14 Fox Valley Association conference championships. The Ghosts were conference champions in 1996 (co-champs), 2001, 2002 (co-champs), 2003 (co-champs), 2004, 2008, 2011, 2014, 2015 (co-champs), 2016, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Most impressively, the Ghosts won 108 straight games between May 20, 2021 and June 6, 2024. This stands as the second-longest high school softball winning streak in U.S. history, and the longest winning streak of any sport in Wisconsin high school sports history.
Kaukauna Ghosts Fastpitch teams, each made up of girls from the same school district, regularly compete with high-level (and high-dollar) club teams who recruit players from multiple states. KGF teams at all age levels also routinely win local, state, and regional tournaments, and have won national-level tournaments at the 10U, 12U, and 14U levels in the past. Many of those same youth teams practice and play on the Field of Champions, and walk in the footprints of the Ghosts who preceded them.

KGF Mission Statement
Kaukauna Ghosts Fastpitch is a non-profit organization founded to promote the game of softball to girls in the Kaukauna Area School District. Kaukauna Ghosts Fastpitch supports the club’s youth softball teams as well as the Kaukauna High School softball program. The goal of Kaukauna Ghosts Fastpitch is to foster the athletic and personal development of our girls in a competitive, positive and fun environment. We encourage hard work, dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Our families play an important role in the success of our club through their many efforts including coaching, fundraising and volunteer work.
